Chandrashekar Jagannath, founder and chairman, boasts a diverse educational background, holding a BSc in Chemistry from New Science College and a PG in Chemical Engineering from Bombay Chemicals. His career trajectory is marked by notable consultancy roles, where from 1988 to 1995, he advised units manufacturing ethyl acetate, ether, and bulk drugs purification. In 1996, he embarked on a significant venture, partnering with GSX International under Texaco and McDermotts’ mandate to establish a Petroleum Refinery with a Co-generation power plant in Andhra Pradesh, unfortunately halted due to delays. Subsequently, he contributed as a whole-time Director and advisor to Richman Silks Limited. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Alternative Energy Systems in 1998, focusing on biomass power plants and Ethyl Acetate production. In 1999, he pioneered Di-Methyl Fuel, obtaining a patent for Carbon Recycle Technology, which he actively promoted through advisory roles, national seminars, and collaborations with organizations like APITCO and EPRI. Notably, he served as an advisor to the Carbon Capture and Sequestration project at Rajiv Gandhi Technology University, overseeing the DST project under the National Programme for Carbon Sequestration. Continuing his innovative endeavors, he applied for and received a patent in 2017 for ‘Zero Emission Technology for Power’, after successfully demonstrating CO2 to Hydrogen conversion at RGTU Bhopal in 2010. Currently, he focuses on transforming Gas Based Power Plants into Zero-Emission facilities, embodying his commitment to sustainability and technological advancement.
